BECKMAN BIOLOGY OLYMPIAD (BIOOLY)
Hello!
We are Beckman Biology Olympiad.
Our mission is to provide all types of students with an environment where they can dive deeper into the field of biology and give them an opportunity to explore hands-on activities. We aim to prepare them for national-level biology competitions. In this club, a group of passionate students gathers to study for the USABO and other competitions together, along with participating in engaging labs and active fundraisers to help promote exploring the field of biology. In addition to club activities, Beckman Biology's board also hosts the international Biology Battle every year.
Learn AP Bio
We offer AP Biology help and support from experienced mentors who have taken the class. Feel free to ask us and fellow classmates about any questions you have about biology in general!
Beckman Biology Trivia
We will be hosting the monthly Beckman Biology Trivia at Beckman High School, a gameshow-type game in which contestants compete by hitting a buzzer to answer AP-bio level questions to receive points for their team. Cool prizes are offered! Great practice for AP Bio, and a lot of fun!
International Competitions
Want to go the extra mile? Use your knowledge to compete in national and international competitions to build experience and work towards accomplishments. We offer AP Bio level international competitions such as BioCo and the British Biology Challenge, as well as college-level biology competitions such as USABO and USMDO.
Whether you are simply preparing for the AP Biology class or planning on majoring in biology in college, Beckman Biology Olympiad connects you with experiences and competitions that are rewarding and exciting.
